Perfect interviews Adam "Mumma" Timle-Händal". He is the ingame leader of H2K.cod4.
In this interview he will tells us alot about his clan and how they are doing at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 and how he started his carreer as a Pro CoD4 player.
Hi there Mumma. Let's start with some basic questions, tell us something about yourself and your history.
"Hello, my name is Adam Timle-Händal also known as Mumma and I'm the ingame leader in H2k.cod4. I have played cod4 since the release and still loving the game "
How did you start your carreer as a pro player?
"It started like summer 08 when i decided to go from a "random cb team" to play for Druidz.cod4 and attend my first lan ( tex08 ).
After that i just continued to play on a high level and continue to practise and last summer I joined up with my current team.
We have had an awesome summer/autumn/winter and today we are a stable top team."
Yes, I personally also look at the ranking and H2K is in the top 10, ranked number 3. How does it feel to be in such a great ranking team?
"It feels great, but the rankings are not that important for me and I still see us as underdogs.
Before the CIC7, one of your members fAEkE quit for unknown reasons. What did you think at that time?
"Well, I didn't like that feake left us 4 weeks before LAN, but I understand him and he did it. So for us it was just to start over and do it fast. And now our form is good."
Hmm I see. Some very known guy like Fnatic Kyochi called fAEkE a hacker. What's your opinion about his comment?
"Hehe, well he left before tex09 then started playing with us again and now he left again before LAN. But to answer the question: Well, I know that fAEkE is not cheating, I have been on boot camp with him and he still played good. But he is a cfg hacker, I can give him that. "
Also, isn't it weird how he left before tex09 then rejoined again and after a while left before the LAN?
"Yes, maybe it looks weird for people that don't know the facts. But the facts are personal so let's keep it that way "
Well. about the 2 teams ranked above you (Team Dignitas and Power Gaming), what do you personally think about them and do you think you guys
will be able to beat them and be number 1?
"Well I consider all teams better than us. I think that Dignitas can perform really wel but at the same time they can be really bad, sooo... don't know how they will do. The 2 strongest teams are Power Gaming and fnatic, but as I said all teams are good and we don't care who we play. I think we can beat anyone. Powers are really strong and they are my personal favorites for the nr.1 spot on CIC7."
Well, you guys were with Unique Gaming Organization before, what do you think about them? What were the reasons that you wanted to leave the organization?
"Decent organization and some of the managers were great. They had some bad luck with us and sponsors that paid late. We left because we had an agreement that they would pay CIC7, but they never did so we had to leave."
Yeah, empty promises.
"No. they got some money late from sponsors. Money that they got today."
So it was their fault in the end?
"Yes their fault, but as I said it was some bad luck and I still respect the managers."
After you guys left the organization, a French squad joined Unique and later on they also left the organisation like you guys.
What do you think about that?
"Well, I think that's between Unique and the French Team, and I have no thoughts about that. "
Do you guys play nationals at clan base? And do you think your team is gonna get the cup?
"Nope, at least I don't. I think that the National cup is just a waste of time, time that we can use in a better way with the team. I don't know who is playing in the other teams, so I have no idea."
But do you have high hopes for your team?
"Yes, I do."
Alright, who do you think is the best Swedish player apart from your team members?
"In Sweden we got 2 good teams, us and fnatic. Most of the other teams are just mixes that changes lineups all the time. The Swedish scene is a mess. Hard question, I think that you need a mix of players to be good, but would say odyx."
Would you ever like to be in the same clan or team as Odyx?
"Hehe. Nah, h2k is the perfect team for me, so I don't think so."
Ahahahahahah. Well during CIC7, you guys ended up 1st with 4 consecutive wins and 1 in your group draw against a polish team. What happened during this match?
"Well we have used the CIC7 seed tournament as some kind of test for some tacs and I wouldn't say the resulst were good, but the practice we got was important. Since visseh joined up a couple of days before the first game and we changed all our tacs after he joined.
So the game against the Polish team, 1stcav, was a practice for your new tactics?
"Yes, but we also played bad."
And you guys are now having a play-off match against mTw. What do you think about them?
"Strong opponents, but they are not as good as they were 3 months ago and we should beat them."
Nice, and what is your prediction of the Top 3 in the CIC7?
1. Power Gaming
2. Fnatic
3. Team Dignitas
Infinity won against fnatic in the group matches. What's your opinion about that?
"Fnatic probably had a bad day and I think that they should have won, but they were probably unlucky."
I see, After CIC7, what next event will you guys be heading off to?
"I don't know, but SMACKlan looks interesting!"
Who do you think is the best non-Swedish Player on COD4?
"I have to say stevy, but the most talented one is sharkz from Russia."
Oh I see. Well stevy is pretty known, yes. Well, I want you take a look at our website and hear your opinion about it.
"Looks cool, I'm not good with websites so I have no clue what to say."
Well at the moment we are working on a project: One Night Cup, and I wonder if you think if it's a good way for your team to practice some new tacs. So if you do agree, we would love to invite you and your team for the One Night Cup. As we are a growing eSports League, we would of course love some popular teams to join our projects.
"Nah, one night cups are full with mixes and stuff, so I can't say that I like to play with the team in that."
